Chang-Soo Lee

Chang-Soo Lee has exhibited his gradually changed and mature artistic world through thirteen times of solo shows and about a hundred times of group shows in Korea and abroad. His subject matter is eternity, cycle, and silence of nature that represents “Life”. In a formless shape of surface that he intentionally prepares, he attaches Korean rice papers and draws spontaneous lines occasionally. The repeating process builds up layers of thickness that almost becomes a relief. The solid piece implies the existence of nature and human being’s psychological state.
